Katy A. Reichert
Katy A. Reichert has been practicing law in the State of Nebraska since 2013. She graduated from the University of Nebraska College of Law in 2012 and has been a licensed attorney since October 2012. She earned her bachelor of arts degree in English, Spanish, and Economics, cum laude, from
Creighton University in 2009.
Katy is an approved Parenting Act mediator through the Nebraska Office of Dispute Resolution. She mediates high conflict cases as a Specialized Alternative Dispute Resolution (SADR) trained mediator. She mediates custody agreements and parenting plans. As an attorney-mediator, Katy can mediate child support matters, spousal support issues, and division of marital debts and assets in divorce cases.
In the community, Katy serves on the boards of the Scottsbluff/Gering Rotary Club, Twin Cities Development, and Scottsbluff Country Club. She was appointed by Governor Pete Ricketts to the Nebraska Commission for the Protection of Children. She is active in the Nebraska State Bar Association and is a Nebraska State Bar Foundation Fellow.
Katy is a native of Western Nebraska and grew up on a farm and ranch north of Morrill. She and her husband, Ryan, are the parents to two toddlers. In her spare time, Katy enjoys cooking, golfing, and being with her family.
